We Want Your Kids to Love Church

Anchor Point loves kids! Anchor Point Kids aims to empower households and partner with YOU in the development of their spiritual and practical growth. We bring kid-inspired fun to every service and classroom through energetic worship music, interactive games, and a message that reaches them right where they are. As a church, we are always investing in the next generation, and this starts with babies and kids. From praying over infants to sharing relevant Bible lessons with elementary kids, our goal is for each child to learn about the Bible and experience God’s presence weekly.

Our team is made up of people who feel called to share the love of Jesus with kids, and every Sunday they help bring excitement and enjoyment to your child’s church experience. Everyone on our Anchor Point Kids Dream Team has been background checked and are thoroughly trained and immersed in a culture of safety and cleanliness with the wellbeing of your child in mind.

We Want 4 Things to Happen During AP Kids

Kids to be Safe and have Fun

Kids to Know they are Loved

Kids to Know they were Made On Purpose For a Purpose

Checking In

When you arrive, look for our Anchor Point Kids Check In Station. One of our friendly team members will help check your child into our system. You and your child will receive personalized, coordinating ID tags unique to your family and your visit, which you will show after the service in order to pick up your child. We suggest arriving 10 minutes early in order to check in your child and make it to the service on time. You can also choose to pre-register your child online before your first visit.

Ages Birth – 18 Months

Our nursery rooms are well staffed and prepared with age-appropriate toys that are thoroughly cleaned every week. As our team holds your baby, we pray for them to know God, find freedom, discover purpose, and make a difference throughout their life.

Ages 18 Months to 4 years old

In our preschool rooms, children learn the Bible through age-appropriate activities like stories, crafts, and Bible action songs that reinforce Bible truths. We pray for them to know God’s love for them, and that they will discover God’s purpose and plan for their lives.

Ages 5 thru Kindergarten

In Anchor Point Kids Junior, children learn the Bible through age-appropriate activities like stories, crafts, and Bible action songs that reinforce Bible truths. They are also given the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with their friends and teachers in small groups.

1st thru 5th Grade

These services are designed to present the love of Jesus to elementary kids in a way that is exciting and makes sense to them. Every week they get to play games, experience dynamic worship, learn about God in a relevant way, and receive prayer and make friends in a small group.

We are so excited that you are considering baptism for your child! Every child can have a personal relationship with Jesus, and in Anchor Point Kids, we encourage them to make a decision to follow Him.

We advise parents to wait until their child is asking to be water baptized. This is usually a good indication that they are ready to be baptized and that it will be a spiritual milestone in their life. At Anchor Point, we provide opportunities for baptism for children over the age of seven. To schedule a baptism for your child, click the link below.

We would be honored to celebrate with you in the dedication of your child to God. In the bible, we see Jesus’ parents dedicating Him to the Lord (Luke 2:22–40).

This ceremony is intended to be a commitment between the parents and God on the behalf of the child. Through dedication, the parents promise to raise their child in the faith, pray with them and over them, and teach them about Jesus until the child is old enough to make his or her own personal confession of Christ.
