What is Jesus Cares?

We partner with the Foley Feeder Pattern Schools to find out what needs the children of our community have and the gifts they are asking for at Christmas. We then set up a free store stocked full of clothes, toys, bicycles and other Christmas gifts to assist those who need a little extra help during the holidays.

Jesus Cares has been in operation for over 30 years.

Jesus Cares originally started at Victory Life Church in Foley, and has recently become part of the outreach ministry of Anchor Point Church in Foley. Even though it is now being run through a different facility, it is still the same ministry with the same heart to see children experience the love, joy and hope of Christmas.

Jesus Cares helps to restore hope and dignity to our community during the Holidays.

The purpose of Jesus Cares is to help families who need a one-time boost due to job loss, home loss, medical needs, etc., or those families who have working or disabled parents/guardians who are not able to provide Christmas for their children due to financial hardships. In addition to gifts and groceries, all families receive prayer, love, and encouragement from our church family and volunteers from the community.

We believe nothing should hinder anyone from the joy and the good news that Christmas brings.
